Camping August 14-16

We went camping this past weekend at Pocomoke River State Park. We had great weather, and a lot of fun. The picture above is of our camp. We had a great suggestion to take a baby pool to use as a playpen. It worked very well. Madeline was able to play with her toys and we could get things done around camp knowing she was contained.















Saturday we had a pretty relaxing morning. After Madeline's first nap we had lunch before getting ready for a hike.



































After lunch we went and hiked the Nature Trail. It was really nice. The hike was easy, level, and had a lot to look at. Madeline liked looking at the trees.













After the hike we were hot, hungry, and tired. It was time to head back to our camp and work on supper.







After supper we gave Madeline a bath in the dish pan. She loved it. We thought it was pretty funny too.



















All in all, we had a great weekend. We are looking forward to doing it all again in a few weeks over Labor Day.
