A Camping We Will Go...

We spent this past weekend camping with some of Bob's family up at New Germany State Park in western Maryland. We had such a great time. The temperatures ranged from the mid-40's to around 60, so it was a little chilly but we still had a lot of fun. We were lucky enough to set tents up in the rain so that created a muddy start to the weekend. The rain didn't last long, though (it stopped just as we were finishing getting the tents up). Other than that the weather was perfect.

Madeline enjoyed playing in the woods. A fallen tree that was supposed to be firewood ended up being a see-saw instead. She loved sliding down the muddy hill on her rear end. We found a playground for her to climb on and Aunt Mamy and Uncle Eric brought Cornhole and she enjoyed putting the bags in the hole.

The twins did well also. We had to keep them bundled up because of the weather but they seemed to stay nice and warm.

It was so nice to see some family for the weekend and enjoy some time relaxing and catching up.
