I know it has been a long time...

Yes, I know it has been several MONTHS since I have posted anything last. It has been a crazy start to the year. We found out we were moving in January, travelled a lot in between January and March for several different reasons, had several visitors over the last few months, the babies turned 1 (I can't believe it!), moved back to North Carolina, and have been working on getting settled and re-established.

So, here are a few pictures to catch you up...

On March 8, the Kaitlyn and Hunter turned 1! Time has gone by so fast. I can't believe all that has happened during their first year and how far they have come.

Their birthday cakes...

Kaitlyn wasn't too sure about hers...

But Hunter LOVED his...

Madeline loves being a big sister and Kaitlyn (and Hunter) absolutely adore her...

Easter was a wonderful day. We got up early and went to a sunrise service at Camp Don Lee. It was quite a challenge to get Bob and I up and ready and then get 3 kids up and ready to walk out the door at 5:30. But we made it and it was totally worth it to watch the sun come up and the dolphins swim down the river during the service. Madeline found her basket as well as the twins' baskets when we got back from the service.

With a new house comes new projects. I'm not sure that Bob is actually getting help, but the kids had fun trying...

Today was a beautiful day. We went to storytime at the library then had a picnic lunch with friends. After a nice long nap this afternoon we headed outside to play.

Overall, we are getting settled here in North Carolina. It is good to be back among good friends, a good church, and a job that Bob loves. We miss friends we made in Virginia, but that is the life of a military family. Luckily, we are only 3 hours away so we can head up there without any problems and friends from Virginia are welcome here any time. Love to all! Have a great night.

  2. I can't believe you guys are down in NC now. We are heading to Wilmington in July for a week so we will have to play a day to come and visit. The kiddos are getting so big. I can not believe the twins turned 1. It looks like they are doing great. Miss you guys!!
